Arsenal are ready to rekindle their interest in Spain international striker Alvaro Morata, it has been claimed.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has long been a big fan of Morata and Arsenal were linked with trying to sign the striker last summer, when Real Madrid activated a buy-back clause to snap him up from Juventus.
Real Madrid expecred to quiclky sell Morata on, but they kept hold of the striker, who has made 22 appreciates in all competitions for Los Blancos this season, scoring nine goals
Now, with the transfer window back open, Arsenal are again interested, according to OK Diario, though they face a battle to convince Real Madrid to part with the striker.
There have been indications recently that Wenger is looking to bring in another striker and Arsenal were linked with bidding for Torino hitman Andrea Belotti.
