1. KEYLOR NAVAS 2.5
Had no chance with the opening goal and was spectator for much of the first half. Commanded his box quite well.

2. DANIEL CARVAJAL 3.0
Was always looking to break down the right-hand side at pace, and put everything into his tackles.

5. RAPHAEL VARANE 3.0
Gave away a silly free-kick in the build up to Suarez’s goal, but was confident to drive out defence in possession.

4. SERGIO RAMOS 3.5
Thumped home a trade-mark late header for the away side, and led by example with some great tackles throughout.

12. MARCELO 3.0
Was a real danger in the first half when driving to the left byline, but faded as the game progressed.

19. LUKA MODRIC 3.5
Full of energy and was very tidy on the ball. Kept things ticking over for Zidane’s men and put in some good challenges.

16. MATEO KOVACIC 3.0
Continues to impress alongside Modric and went on a couple of good mazy runs, but faded after the interval a little.

22. ISCO 3.0
Frustrated to be substituted, but the Spaniard didn’t offer a great deal in the final third and was sacrificed for Casemiro.

17. LUCAS VAZQUEZ 3.0
Always was keen to break down the right, but didn’t offer much of an impact in the final third. Tracked back well.

9. KARIM BENZEMA 2.5
Had a couple of half chances, but was largely frustrated by good defending, in another quiet outing for the Frenchman.

7. CRISTIANO RONALDO 3.0
Forced Ter Stegen into a couple of saves and was a real bright spark in the first half, but seemed to teak his hamstring.

14. CASEMIRO 3.0
Made a vital goal-line clearance in stoppage time to ensure that Real Madrid left with a point.

20. MARCO ASENSIO 2.5
Gave possession away a little cheaply at times, but was confident enough to drive forward regularly.

18. MARIANO DIAZ 2.5
Given the last few minutes to make an impact, but struggled to physically impose himself on the game.
