1. KEYLOR NAVAS 3.5
The Costa Rica international made one great save to deny Messi and was alert to any danger throughout.

15. DANIEL CARVAJAL 3.0
Though in the tackle and proved his coach right to leave out Danilo. Tenacious and competitive showing from the right-back.

3. PEPE 3.0
A little overzealous at times, but the Portugal international on the whole did well to deal with the pace and movement of Suarez.

4. SERGIO RAMOS 2.0
Saw red for two cautions, although the Real Madrid captail could have been dismissed in the first half for a foul on Messi too.

12. MARCELO 3.5
Gallopped down the left-hand side with regularity and provided some important passes in the build-up play to great second-half chances.

19. LUKA MODRIC 3.0
Calm on the ball and looked to carry possession from deep areas to spark breaks whenever he could.

14. CASEMIRO 3.5
Gave balance to the midfield and offered a little bit more phisicallity in a Real Madrid three that stood up to Barca’s orchestra well.

8. TONI KROOS 2.5
Key in the build-up to Benzema’s equaliser, with the German’s cross-cum-shot being turned into the back of the net by his teammate.

11. GARETH BALE 3.5
Endless supplies of energy from the Welshman, who saw a second-half goal disallowed too. Provided a key assist for the winner.

9. KARIM BENZEMA 3.5
Turned home an acrobatic finish to tie the scoreline up, but was otherwise a little bit rusty and off the pace.

7. CRISTIANO RONALDO 4.0
Tucked a great finish through the legs of Bravo to score the winner, with the Portuguese forward dangerous when cutting inside.


20. JESE RODRIGUEZ
Bought on very late, but offered plenty of late running, with the Spaniard able to stretch Barca’s back four with his pace.

18. LUCAS VAZQUEZ
Introduced very late on to give Bale a brief rest.
