1. KEYLOR NAVAS 3.5
Made a couple of exellent saves to ensure that Real Madrid battled their way to another good clean sheet.

15. DANIEL CARVAJAL 3.0
The right-back offered width on the right flank but his quality of final ball was a little bit lacking.

3. PEPE 3.0
Covered across his back linke well and ensured that Perez could not get in behind at all.

4. SERGIO RAMOS 3.0
Could have scored with an early headed attempt but couldn’t quite make contact. Otherwise, a comfortable, routine game for the captain.

12. MARCELO 3.5
A constant threat on the break and always looked to overlap when the opportunity was there. Forced Pletikosa into two good saves.

19. LUKA MODRIC 3.5
Positive with his passing and looked to stab dangerous passes into the final third. Denied a goal by a vital block by Sidnei.

14. CASEMIRO 3.0
Calm in possession and looked to open play out to the flanks whenever he could. Kept things ticking over.

8. TONI KROOS 3.0
Kept the ball ticking over and responsible in possession. Substituted after picking up a needless booking.

11. GARETH BALE 4.0
A real danger on the break, with the Welshman’s pace and dribbling ability scaring Deportivo’s back four to death.

9. KARIM BENZEMA 3.0
Cut back a lovely assist for Ronaldo’s opener but otherwise struggled to find the space required to have a big impact.

7. CRISTIANO RONALDO 4.5
Stroked home an easy first goal, before nodding home a deflected second. Scraped the crossbar and hit the post while searching for a hat-trick.

10. JAMES RODRIGUEZ 3.0
Introduced at half-time and looked quite dangerous, unafraid to shoot.

22. ISCO 3.0
Showed some neat bits of skill and glided across the turf with the ball at his feet.

20. JESE RODRIGUEZ
Introduced late on but didn’t have much of an impact.
