13. KIKO CASILLA 3.0
Zidane’s second-choice goalkeeper did not have a lot to do, as the entire game was dominated by Los Merengues. Will never have an easier clean sheet.

23. DANILO 3.5
Growing in confidence after disastrous first 18 months at Madrid and set up Morata’s first. He did well in defense.

6. NACHO FERNANDEZ 3.0
He looked sharp and was relaxed sitting alongside Sergio Ramos as Madrid’s juggernaut of a midfield did a splendid job.

4. SERGIO RAMOS 3.0
He did give away the ball and was also caught out of position at one point, but Granada being Granada could not make anything out of those little mishaps.

15. FABIO COENTRAO 3.5
Impressive given lack of match practice and topped performance with a lovely cross for James’s header. He played his role to perfection.

10. JAMES RODRIGUEZ 4.0
Can do little more to further his case to start in the biggest games with another two goals to kill the game inside 11 minutes.

14. CASEMIRO 3.5
Missed a sitter, but that’s not what he is in the team for and strolled through what battle there was in midfield.

16. MATEO KOVACIC 3.5
Enjoyed the freedom of for once playing alongside Casemiro to drive forward and create. He also provided a beautiful ball to Lucas Vazquez.

17. LUCAS VAZQUEZ 4.0
A constant threat down the right. Teed up James to open the scoring and the only drawback was he should have scored a few himself.

21. ALVARO MORATA 4.5
As always, he did a great job in getting involved in Madrid’s attacking play. He scored the third and the fourth goal for Real Madrid.

20. MARCO ASENSIO 3.5
He contributed well in dominating Granada from the get-go. Given that it was Granada that they were facing, maybe he was expected to do something special, other than that the youngster did a fine job.

9. KARIM BENZEMA 3.0
The French forward made some good runs and participated in the attack in his short time taking good advantage of the demoralized and tired legs of the Granada players.

22. ISCO 3.0
He tried to set up his teammates several times in the short duration of his presence and even cheekily won the ball from Granada at one point.

18. MARIANO DIAZ 3.0
In his only 13 minutes of play, he did well moving forward and even provided Benzema with a beautiful ball only for the Frenchman to put it wide by a few yards.
