Made a couple of good saves and was always quick off his line to pounce upon any loose balls.

Lucky to not get sent off late on for a rash tackle on Babel, and was guilty of some irresponsible dashes forward.

Got involved in some needless comings together with Babel, but was otherwise strong in the tackle and covered well.

Thumped home a bullet header at the near post to give Real Madrid yet another late goal in their bid for the La Liga title.

Whipped in some teasing balls from high on the left-hand side, and tracked back diligently when required.

8. TONI KROOS 3.0
Whipped in a great corner delivery to provide Ramos with the ammunition to score a late winning goal.

Gave the ball away criminally to allow Deportivo to score, but otherwise broke up play quite well in midfield.

Dragged off when Real Madrid needed a goal, as the ex-Malaga man had a bright first half, but them faded.

Went close with a good chance in the first half, but didn’t provide too much quality in a congested final third.

Fired home a beautiful goal to open the scoring, but then found himself too involved with off-the-ball drama with Albentosa and Sidnei.

Showed his quality with some mazy dribbles, and was often keen to beat players, but his final ball was lacking.

Clipped in a good cross for Mariano Diaz’s header, but lost his head a bit in a disagreement with Sidnei.

Guided home his first league goal of the season at a vital time, nipping in ahead of Sidnei to nod into the back of the net.

Brought into the game as a wing-back and always looked to push on down the left and deliver crosses.
