1. KEYLOR NAVAS 2.0
Made a poor error for Las Palmas’ third goal, after racing out to make a clearance but blundering beyond it. Denied Jese twice.

2. DANIEL CARVAJAL 3.0
Always keen to break forward and curl in some crosses from the right-hand side, but did struggle defensively at times.

6. NACHO FERNANDEZ 2.5
Calm on the ball, but did struggle in the physical battle against Boateng at times. Reasonably solid.

4. SERGIO RAMOS 2.5
Made an important goal-line clearance in the first half, but turned villain in the second after giving away a penalty.

12. MARCELO 3.0
Didn’t push on much before the break, but was a real driving force when Real Madrid were struggling in the second half.

22. ISCO 2.5
Slotted home the game’s opening goal and found dangerous pockets of space, but had a very quiet second half indeed.

8. TONI KROOS 2.5
His set-piece deliveries didn’t cause too many problems for the visitors, and he wasn’t able to create anything from deep.

16. MATEO KOVACIC 2.5
Positive on the ball and looked to drive forward when he could, but was guilty of gifting possession away in some bad areas.

11. GARETH BALE 2.0
Powerful with his running down the right, causing Dani Castellano all kinds of problems. Sent off for a moment of madness.

21. ALVARO MORATA 3.0
Saw a first-minute goal ruled out for offside, but was only able to lead the line dangerously in little spurts.

7. CRISTIANO RONALDO 3.5
Had a frustrating night until the dying stages, where he stepped up to net a penalty and then score a very late header.

17. LUCAS VAZQUEZ 3.0
Keen to drive down the right flank and angle crosses in, and forced Javi Varas into one good save.

9. KARIM BENZEMA 2.5
Fired a great chance over the crossbar soon after coming on, and was a bit wasteful in front of goal generally.

10. JAMES RODRIGUEZ 3.0
Introduced with 15 minutes to go and looked to slot some passes into the path of Lucas Vazquez. Assisted the equaliser.
